Fivash Cellars is a family owned and award winning winery located about a mile from Snoqualmie Falls. Makers of Walla Walla and Columbia Valley Wines, they are proud to showcase their hand crafted work in the tasting room on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 6. They also accept appointments.
2007 Woodshop Red – A red blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Franc. Made from Walla Walla fruit and aged for 33 months in barrel, this wine is fruit forward with strong tannins and notes of mineral and dark fruit.
2010 Rosé of Merlot – Fresh and fruity, slightly sweet wine, with a gorgeous red-pink coloring. Watermelon and strawberry, with hints of grapefruit and cherry explode on the palate. A very pretty and super fun drink for any occasion.
2010 Chardonnay – Made from a single vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley, this wine has good minerality, with a touch of buttery mouth feel and is lightly oaked. It has pear fragrance, with flavors of citrus and pineapple, with a vanilla finish.
2009 Red Mountain Merlot – From a single vineyard in Red Mountain, this 100% Merlot was barrel aged for 22 months in 50% new French oak. Black cherry and sweet wood with hints of spice and tobacco, this full-bodied wine has ripe, full tannins and a long, pleasant finish.
2007 C-Star – A very smooth and complex Bordeaux blend of 73% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc. Made from Walla Walla fruit, this wine is aged for 33 months in barrel, with 40% new French oak. This wine was made with standout business executives in mind, the stars of the C-level.
